While the Activated Charcoal layer absorbs odor causing agents, VOC gasses, and micro particulate from the air, the Photo Catalyst layer helps in oxidizing pathogens and harmful gases, such as exhaust fumes, volatile organic compounds and so on.
The air purifier also has a UV-C light layer to irradiate and kill microorganisms, such as bacteria, mold, spores, and viruses. The last layer is an ionizer that generates negative ions. These ions purify the air by reacting with odor molecules and combining with particulates to create larger particles that are easier to filter out.
