Since its establishment in 2015 as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API)and essential oil trading company, Heilen Biopharm has experienced remarkable growth. Despite the initial challenges of low awareness about essential oils, the company achieved a turnover of INR 60 lakhs in its first year with a modest investment of INR 2.5 lakhs. Even during the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Heilen Biopharm focused on developing new products that proved highly beneficial for patients, particularly those with respiratory issues. "As a result, our turnover reached INR 3.5 crores in 2022, and we believe it will exceed INR 10 crores in 2023", states Jignesh Chaudhary, director at Heilen Biopharm.

With a dedicated team of 20 employees, Heilen Biopharm anticipates substantial growth, expanding its workforce to over 100 individuals in the coming year. Initially, Heilen Biopharm operated solely on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart with its own web store on Flipkart while today, the company has expanded offline, offering brand franchises across states and major cities.

To further enhance its manufacturing capabilities and meet the increasing demand, Heilen Biopharm is establishing two dedicated manufacturing units. One unit will be a USFDA-compliant plant exclusively producing health care associated essential oils, such as Brahmi and peppermint. The second unit will focus on cosmeceutical and pharmaceutical formulations. By in vesting in these manufacturing units and employing advanced instrumentation in compliance with USFDA regulations, Heilen Biopharm aims to bolster its production capacity.
