While the market is huge with innumerable players, challenges pertaining to the quality of products remains a big issue among consumers. Addressing these challenges with an exceptional range of baby products is ‘Little Sudhams’ a pioneering brand offering a comprehensive range of baby products designed keeping in mind the requirements of new parents for their ‘little sudhams’. Enveloping ‘Indian ness’ through its offerings, the brand is dedicated to blending modern technological excellence with traditional Indian heritage for curating products that meet international quality standards, while appealing to the sensitivities of the domestic market.
Exuding Indianness
Established in 2018 by a new mom, Varunya Sree M, who comes from a background in the textile industry the brand produces exquisite baby care products. The range is known for being soft, organic, chemical free, gentle, and
offering value for money and ease of cleaning. The company’s range of products encompass items suited for babies within the age group of zero to eighteen months currently, spanning categories including muslin clothing, muslin nappies, swaddles, bath towels, newborn gift sets, burp cloths, mattress protectors and traditional baby girl dresses in cotton and pure silk.
“I always dreamed of developing an Indian brand – one that creates impeccable products with Indianness at its core. As a mother, I was very eager to help fellow new mothers choose the best quality products for their little ones. Today, awareness among new parents is exemplary. Nobody can match the attention to detail like a mother or a grandmother when it comes to choosing what is right for their little ones. This inspired me to create ‘Little Sudhams’ which literally means ‘little children’ where ‘sudham’ is a Sanskrit word for ‘child’”, shares Varunya Sree M, Founder, Little Sudhams.
Dedicated to creating technologically innovative baby care products, the company goes the extra mile to standardize the quality of its products by implementing methods like procuring high-quality yarn that is processed in automatic warping and sizing machines, and fabric which is made using high-tech air jet looms. The brand has also successfully developed a unique fabric for neonate baby clothing known as Amnion- designed to mimic the comfort and protection of the amniotic sac. Another unique development by the brand is its Meco nappy, created from ultra soft cotton fabric, for the first few days of hospital stay for the baby.
Beyond innovations, the company stands out for its commitment to growing with the clients and their demands, by proactively seeking feedback and integrating client needs into its products.
Future Roadmap
A growing baby care brand dedicated to providing gentle products that protect babies, Little Sudhams has ambitious plans for its future growth. A key project in the works is the development of a new baby cloth diaper that is microfiber-free, preventing long-term contact with microfibers. Additionally, driven by the demand for traditional wear clothing for boys, the firm is also in the process of curating a beautiful line of baby boy traditional clothes. Simultaneously, the brand aims to integrate the brand into the ONDC network which will enable it to expand, along with exploring FTAs to launch its presence beyond the Indian borders.
