The MAPIC India Shopping Centre Summit & Awards 2025, often referred to as the aha Kumbh of Retail, successfully convened the leading figures in the retail and retail real estate sectors for a day filled with insightful discussions, innovation, and collaboration. Held on April 15, 2025, at the JW Marriott Aerocity in New Delhi, the summit attracted over 1,000 delegates, featured 60 prominent speakers, and showcased more than 150 top retail brands from across India. The event focused on key topics such as changing consumer behaviors, the future of luxury retail, and emerging high-growth sectors, reinforcing its reputation as the most significant retail gathering in the country.
The summit concluded with the esteemed MAPIC India Shopping Centre Awards, which recognized excellence and innovation across 27 categories. Special awards included Most Admired Shopping Centre Launch of the Year, Best Turnaround Shopping Centre Story of the Year, Most Admired Shopping Centre Company of the Year, and Most Admired Specialty Centre of the Year. The awards celebrated exceptional shopping centres in both metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas, as well as professionals who are transforming retail experiences. Notable winners included Nexus Elante, Lulu Thiruvananthapuram, Ambuja Neotia, Ambience Mall, Nexus Select Citywalk, Prestige Group, Inorbit Malls, and Phoenix Mills, all acknowledged for their contributions in areas such as sustainability, marketing, smart infrastructure, design, and retail partnerships.
To add a fun and engaging conclusion to the event, MAPIC India organized a friendly yet competitive cricket match on April 16, 2025, in Dwarka, New Delhi. This match brought together developers and retailers in a spirited environment, further promoting collaboration within the retail community. The initiative received enthusiastic participation, highlighting MAPIC India’s dedication to fostering a united retail ecosystem.
