Separator
Due to changes in both the residential and commercial sectors, as well as new building and remodeling, the market under study is expanding significantly. Construction in rising economies that invest more on infrastructure also results in greater industrial demand. The global market for windows and doors is divided into segments according to the kind of material (wood, metal, plastic, and other materials), the ultimate customer (residential and commercial), and the region (North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa). The expanding scope of the marketplace in industrialized nations will also be fueled by a rise in customer spending on remodeling and new homes. Amongst the other regions, the Asia-Pacific windows and doors industry is anticipated to grow at the highest rate.

In 1959, a small German town called Ellwangen saw the founding of the company, which is now known as Lingel. Today, Lingel is one of Europe’s top producers of premium doors and windows. With a strong foundation in building-construction projects, Lingel also offers cutting edge technology and services. In India since 2006, Lingel has been successfully conducting business. In the years to come, Lingel intends to keep providing its services in the region while also seizing any expansion opportunities that arise.

Lingel’s services and products are available in multiple parts of Europe including Germany, the birthplace of the company, Switzerland, and Austria. Apart from these countries, the firm has also established a strong presence and reputation in India since expanding into this part of the world. Lingel’s outstanding growth against all odds has been the result of the company’s spectacular range of offerings and an innovative bent of mind which lends the ability to keep up with the market demands and expectations. While the company specializes in doors and windows fabrication and installation, there is much versatility and appeal of design and functionality within these product ranges. Lingel offers a wide array of uPVC, German Wood, and Aluminium doors and windows to the clients across India and Europe. In addition to these, the company also offers customization options and add-ons like Venetian blinds, glass house and sun shades, roller shutters, awning, Lingel security windows, window sill, skylight, inbuilt grills, and georgian or glazing bars.

“When our company started in 1959, there was no uPVC or Aluminium for construction of windows and doors in Germany. As such, we started manufacturing products out of wood which was abundantly available. TIll date, wooden products remain one of our main verticals. Today, we offer diverse options and have built two fabrication facilities, one in east Germany and other in west Germany, where all of the manufacturing and production work happens. Additionally, we have developed a very large network of channel partners in India and have spread our presence across 40 locations in the country. We are present virtually as well as physically so that clients can reach a linear partner and get products they like and have them installed by our experts”, shares Dr. H. C. Mario Schmidt, Managing Director, Lingel.

Growth in India
Over the past 12-15 years, India has seen a paradigm shift in the number and sizes of houses being built. Building a new house is seen as a family adventure where everyone from small children to the eldest members of the family are involved. While building a new home, the needs of every member of the household are aimed to be fulfilled. Additionally, compared to the sizes of houses being built in the early 2000s, today, people are building houses that are at least double in size, with more rooms than before. People are also more involved in the architectural aspect of home building, demanding more stylized windows and doors to make the homes look more lavish. High windows for example are the current trend, which make the homes look more high-end.

Lingel ensures that the products offered last for generations, which is achieved by hiring the best industrial experts who are driven by innovation

“In India, home building is seen as an exciting journey for the entire family. So, as providers of integral home building parts, we have to understand the needs of all the audience segments and explain how our solutions would best meet their needs. We also have to take care of the fittings, and we sit with the architects and plan the placement and measurements of the fittings. After that, we also conduct multiple site visits to ensure that what is being built from the sketches is correct and if there are any alterations, which enables us to modify our products before the final manufacturing and installation. This allows for the best fit of the product”, Dr.H.C. Mario Schmidt.

It is evident from the company’s strategic methodologies that client satisfaction is the first and foremost priority for Lingel. This greatly reflects in the firm’s approach and the ultimate results that the company offers which has allowed Lingel to become a trusted name in the industry and grow steadily over the years.
